My friends at Paul's Cycling and Fitness have asked me to run the DS race @ Hobby again this year. I have a guy willing to truck in some dirt for the course so we'll start that immediately. Beware that huge piles of dirt may be on the course if you go to ride. Once I schedule a workday I'll let everyone know and I'll post more info as it comes available. Make sure to mark your calendars for Sept. 23.

sweet! i spoke with juan at wolf and he said he'd be glad to come and help design/build at hobby. set up some work dates and we'll be there, oh captain my captain!
May have to dive up for that one. Had a lot of fun last time I raced DS there. Yah, that was back in 2001 or 02. Jeremy and I stayed at Andys old place up there. I don't think I have ever seen Jeremy laugh so much!!!!! I think it had to do with something in the air that night......
i should be able to make it to that race. i dont see why the hell i wouldnt be able too.
Sorry won't make it Mike, but in 2 months I should be 100% healed, metal free!

btw, i'll be bringing about 100' of hose w/ me on the workday so we can be sure to reach all of the dirt w/ the hose
ill be there.
I'll be in Asheboro on Fri/Sat and back in Asheville Sat. night. Only way I could race it is on my BMX cruiser.
why a bmx cruiser?
Because I have my Sunday, my road bike and my BMX cruiser. No "dual" bike.
they usually have a "big bike" class. go for it ya panzy! or maybe i'll race my bottlerocket and you can ride my haro singlespeed

wow..that was a while back, before the single berm. i've almost landed on those things so many friggin times. i got attitude from one dude about it until i learned him a thing or two about the difference between the RC track and the DS track.
SUCKS ..... Im working that weekend... aybe ill be off for some races next year... one can only hope...
