[V-Dub GTI]

Ok, how do you do this? My friend wants me to do it nut I have no experience other than changing the pads on them.

1) Is there a step by step to walk me through it?
2) Is it DOT 3/4/5.1 or mineral oil
3) Can I make due without the hope bleed kit?

Hope has a video on line on how to bleed their brakes, use dot 5.1

You don't need their bleed kit to do it. Just make sure on a manual bleed the lever is much higher than the caliper. Also make sure the pistons are pushed all the way flush with the caliper body, then wedge them in so they don't move during the bleed.
