I got a couple of bottles that I never used that have been in the cupboard for a WHILE. If they do expire is there any nutritional gain from using them still? Basically I'll feel guilty for throwing out all that creatine and protein.

They can lose their potency if they sit around too long. I think they have a shelf life of 1.5 - 2 years.
Throw out the creatine and buy new creatine. Creating breaks down fairly quickly.
The protein should still be fine, as long as you didn't let it get damp. Damp protein + Time = bacteria.

Old protein won't do anything bad to you but it's quality begins to degrade after about 2 years (right around the expiry date on the container).
