Had a couple runs on a mates Sunday yesterday and I could tell that it's got serious potential but, the bb is LOW! I run my M1 as low as possible but the suday was something else. It was great on our DH trails which are fast and rooty, but don't have too many big rocks (nothing like some of the pics that have been posted here recently).
Do you just get used to it?
The sunday had 170mm cranks, would 165 make that much difference?
Or do you just change your cranks/pedals all the time?
On another note, the bike felt sort of "uncomfortable", I know a DH bike isn't meant to be comfortable but still,it rode really differently compared to my M1, is this due to shock setup or suspension design? is it meant to be like that? is it just something to adapt to that makes you faster in the long run?
Cheers
