Couldn't have said it any better. Huge props to everyone that helped put on this event!Wow, what a great race. It was run really, really well. They say that you can tell when somebody has put together an event well when it seems like (from the participant's point of view) it's running itself. Good job RideSFO and Team Wrong Way. I am so impressed. I was depressed about Sea Otter and you guys really made up for it above and beyong my expectations.
Got anything of plate #174? Red Foes Fly, red, white and blue kit?good job on the g-out trap! What was your # again? might have a crappy point & shoot of you pinning it.
Cameron ColeColeman <sp?> with a 1:56 and small change. (I'm pretty sure that was the time) Top speed at the G-Out was Beavers clocked at 47mph.
Good god that must have been an awesome crash. Sorry to hear it was you that Miles plowed into...get well and I'm REALLY glad to hear it's only a sprain.Didn't get to race after Miles crashed into me at the top of the g-out in practice before the race. I ended up coming into the top of the g-out too hot and wiped out on the side. It knocked the air out of me so I was a little slow getting up and moving. I ended up moving a 5 or so feet off the side of the trail to catch my breath.
Then I heard "Heads up" and almost immediately I get plowed into my Miles. I heard the crash looked pretty brutal (I asked around and wasnt able to find anyone who caught it on video - damn). I don't remember much of the impact or a few seconds afterward. The air was knocked out of me yet again and my wrist and lower back were hurting like hell. I think(?) his knee hit my lower left back really good first, and I really have no idea how my wrist ended up getting hurt. I went to the ER got xrays and found that it was just a bad sprang. So I'm out for a couple weeks. I'm just really happy it wasn't broken. Bummed I am going to miss out on the next few weeks of racing though. =\

Damn Josh, I wondered why I didn't see you around yesterday. That must've been on heck of a scene watching it unfold. Looked like alot of people got taken out this year - the ambulance crew was quite busy.Didn't get to race after Miles crashed into me at the top of the g-out in practice before the race. Man, I saw it happen. I just moved from that spot to photograph somewhere else. If I chilled another couple minutes I would have got it. It wasn't pretty. Glad the old wrist didn't snap.Didn't get to race after Miles crashed into me at the top of the g-out in practice before the race. Yo Yo! Thanks for the support ... its great to get back and do the race better ... we need to make some tweaks to get it a little better ... glad everyone had a great time ... I'm glad the weather turned out the way it did but bummed about Josh, Tara and a few others that got hurt ....
We'll be posting official times and MPH later tonight and get the points awarded by next week.
Thanks again!
I found your new racing kit...For sure man. It was great while I was out there though. Seriously, such a cool event. By far the best local event.
You cant beat $45 for a race, shirt, a sick course, and a weekend of good times.
Cant wait for the next one. Fingers crossed on not getting taken out by another rider. =]
If I'm not mistaken, my buddy Drew and I were heading to Las Trampas to ride, and we drove by you. Did you have two Horsies and a Santa Cruz VP (maybe?) in your truck? We would have passed you right around the San Jose/Milpitas area.
