Hey everyone anyone know where i can find the lower door or flap for the battery on a Canon 10d?

I have a battery grip on my camera now (no i dont have the old piece) and it is a bit bulky with to travel? Where can i find one of these bad boys?

i know that the camera won't operate w/o that door flap if you aren't using the grip...i recently had a slight panic attack when i couldn't find it and had to send my grip out for repair, but eventually did locate it.

yeah i must have that, i am heading out on a trip where i can't take the camera bag so i need to be able to condense the goods...i might call canon today to...

so you mean going from the grip to not having the grip? I bought my camera off of Derek a while back and have had the grip on it since i bought it...

I think i am going to like the weight/size savings with the smaller size...the thing is a beast with the grip

but w/o it the camera seems so dinky, esp w/ a big lens.

i also shoot portrait orientation quite a bit, and not having the shutter release/AF select button in the right spot really sucks after you get used to it being there.
