Endlessbikes.com, there is a page with a bunch of pictures of built up endless's. Also do a search, there are a couple on here. My favorite one I have seen on here was Castle's, but I don't know if he still has it.

Dang,
That page is horribly outdated.
I need to post pics of all the other bikes that have been built in the last two years.
Thanks for the reminder!

Starting to get it up to date.
There's a bunch of really nice ones rolling around Asheville that I'll also have to get snaps of.

This thread makes me wish I was in Pisgah riding a horrendously old-fashioned bike with some good friends. I should put a rigid fork and some fatter tires on my XC bike someday. And maybe a shorter stem. We'll have to see about SS.

Yeah, its kind of odd, but Marshalls set up just illustrates how many ways you can build one of those things up. You see them all over in this area, and every one I see is different. His set up isn't my cup of tea, but he rips it up on that bike, and I bet it shows in his smoothness on the trails in pisgah.

My current set up for winter trail riding is as follows:

SS, full rigid.
1.75x1 ratio
Surly Instigator fork
IRC Notos 29"x2" front tire
Continental Cross Country 26"X1.5" rear tire
My bike currently weighs in at 26lbs and is the fastest trail bike I have ever ridden...even faster than my '97 S-Works hardtail.
I'll have a pic on the website as soon as I have a chance!

wait, Marshall, so you're running yours 29x26 now??
looks like it... looks nice.

I used to ride my mom's 700c city/cross bike through a shortcut in the woods when my bike was out of comission & I was late for practice ... meaty 700c wheels sure have a good feel to them in the right terrainl :) this was before the whole 29er thing caught on in recent years...

pretty cool ****.

Mine is pretty much street too but it's been configured just about every way possible. This is the way I like it the best: 26/24 s/s 36:16 rr brake only hooks front and back and 4" DJ 1 stiff as heck. Just upgraded to profile bolt on hub and boone ti cog and spacer kit. I like it a lot!
