Or how about a custom made Curtis....They are extremly nice and superbly made...

But of the two frames you mention, I would get the trailstar because it is steel. I´s a little more comfortable to ride.

I wish i could afford a curtis. have you even ridden a trailstar, the tubes look kind of thin to me, and i wondered if they flex a lot?

PM Lumberjack, he can give you all the info you need. Couple of guys on our DH squad run Dr Jekyll frames for DJ, trail and MTB/BMX races. Awesome handles and durability.
