Cd's has 420 (haha, no really) at teh wheels which puts 5 somthign at the crank, and thats how all cars are usally measured..and Im not sure why...bigger number I guess
I have to agree with Certified Drunk...by a house instead, sell it 6 months later and you can buy your WRX with cash.
I have a 2000 Outback with the 3.0 liter horizontally opposed 6 cyclinder, and it is a great car. I test drove one at Marysville at 110mph (the sales guy wasn't with me) and it still had a ways to go. I ran out of freeway, so I'm not sure what it's top speed is.
I love the WRX, but I think it is to small. I use the Subaru for kayaking and snowboarding, but my Ford Ranger is the better for mountain biking. I hated taking my bike on and off the roof racks of my old '86 Subaru.
With a truck, you just toss it in the back, muddy or not.
fyi. The 3.0L Outback gets 22mpg on a trip to Whistler. My 4.0L Ranger gets 20-22 on the same trip.
