I'm back in NYC for the next two weeks (leaving 9/25), any suggestions on things to do? I've got my climbing shoes, so I intend to stop by Chelsea Piers to boulder a bit, maybe find something to climb in the Park. I went to the museums when I was here in January, and did most of the tourist crap then as well.
Any suggestions? I'm bored out of my f'in mind post-work already.

Leave?

Take a ride west on I78 to the Lehigh Valley and go bike riding.

We have a casino here, too.

I don't really know anyone here, nor what there is to do. Need suggestions. I have no bike though...

There is plenty of places to rent bikes. Just cruise the city is always fun.

Take a trip to Brooklyn. Williamsburgh is alwyas interesting and you will see why people on track bikes is not something I really take notice of and need to dicuss on the Internet.

You are welcome to visit my hood and have a beer if you like.

Go to wall street and start the sell off. Check out the amazingly cheap real estate in the financial district. If youre in Brooklyn go check out Habana Outpost for some good cuban food (its seasonal so it may not be open). Catfish tacos are whats up! Go see BMW. Go see why it takes forever to do anything in this country and have a look at ground zero and the adjacent buildings.

Take the 7 train out to Queens at 2am... LOADS of entertainment there.

But seriously, if you want to go MTB'ing, there are several places that are near train stations and riding spots:

Bicycle Julio's in Chappaqua - They're close to Graham Hills and the Chappaqua train station. Ask for Paul.
Down Cycles in Montrose - Close to Blue Mountain (awesome riding), and the Cortland train station. Ask for AJ.

Either of these shops would probably be able to get you situated with a bike, and gear if you needed it.

Otherwise I'm not sure what to do after work during the week. I'd say meet up with CBJ for a beer, but beyond that I'll let some of the NYC peeps give you some ideas.

I can email you my resume and a generic cover letter and you can drop it off at every bank in Manhattan. I'd pay you 50% of my signing bonus if I got hired.
