Anyone prefer a stiffer spring for trail riding ?

I recently swapped my 550# for a 650# for a day of trail riding.

Made the bike quite a bit quicker & I didn't notice any downside on drops...

Maybe just a speck less on bump compliance.

The spring oly allowed about 15mm sag on a 2.25 stroke.

Wondered if anyone else does this.

I've seen guys w/ air shocks uping the PSI. So, I decided to try it w/ a spring.

If it's a coil I usually just run a litte more compression damping or platform pressure, but if it's an air shock I might run a little more air.
