To those who don't know I broke my wrist pretty bad at the first Beacon Hill race this year. I got a pretty nasty break through my scaffoid and tore the ligaments. Well I had surgery this morning and got a Ti screw put through my scaffoid and four Ti pins to hold my wrist together. The surgery went smoothly with no complications. In six weeks I get the pins out, but the screw will stay with me. With determination and plenty of PT I should be back riding my bike by late may/early june time frame, maybe sooner with some luck. I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for their kind words and encouragement. It definitely reminds me what great friends I have through riding and racing. I am bummed to have to miss racing sea otter and the pro grt in PA but I will for sure be out there to cheer everyone on!
