I'm so sick and tired of hearing how Italian police are setting up special task forces to raid cyclist's hotel rooms, bug telephone conversatians between riders and team doctors, now I read they grilled Simeoni for 3 hours abpit lance chasing him down in satge 18 !! Have they nothing better to do ?

It's because doping in Italy is actaully a crime it isn;t anywhere else as long as you're not competing and even than you don't get prison time. Also Itally has the most high level pros of any country.
