Yeti Cycles Hires John Pentecost as International Sales Manager
Yeti Cycles, a global leader in high-end mountain bikes, has built on a strong 2010 season by hiring John Pentecost for the role of International Sales Manager. Pentecost, who most recently worked as Product and Marketing Manager for Race Face, got his start in the bike industry as a co-founder of Evil Bikes/e.thirteen components and has over 9 years of experience in the bike industry.
John and I have known each other for years, said Chris Conroy, President and GM of Yeti Cycles. I admired the way he built Evil and e.thirteen back in the day, and Im excited to finally have the chance to work with him. He brings a varied set of skills to Yeti, and the fact that hes a passionate rider and gravity racer means hell fit right in with our crew at the office.
Pentecost feels similarly: To say Im thrilled about this opportunity would be an understatement. Ive been a fan of Yeti since I got into mountain biking back in the early 90s, so getting a job here is a great feeling. Everyone on the staff is passionate about what they do, and its inspiring to work with such an awesome group of people. Im looking forward to getting to know our current network of international distributors, and I plan to draw on my past experiences in helping the brand grow globally.
Pentecost currently resides in Vancouver, BC, but he started working at Yeti earlier this week. He will be relocating to Colorado in May.
