Lets see your 2007 or 2008 turner dhr's. I am going to buy one soon so I am curious to see how you have yours set up.
correct on the stem crown....5th element retainerWhere did that spring retainer on your shock come from?
On my 05, I had to turn the stock fox retainer so the slot was alligned with the link to prevent contact..
it is a sunline stem...on a risse crown I would guess...
is that a spacer between head tube and the bottom crown of the 888?Here is my DHR. I am still waiting/trying to decide on wheels. I also plan on getting a Ti spring. Graphics are by www.mxidsystems.com . I am not even sure what the weight is as it sits now.

Word! Is it? That's something I've been waiting for. Good looking bikes - both of you.is that a sunline post?
Nope. Just a Sunline V-One lower headset cup.is that a spacer between head tube and the bottom crown of the 888?
Are you running an avy'd 5th element??? Or a normal 5th element?correct on the stem crown....5th element retainer
uhhh....normal i guess....but not reallyAre you running an avy'd 5th element??? Or a normal 5th element?
So you ripped the guts out yourself? Just wondering, an old 5th is an odd choice for a new frame thats all......uhhh....normal i guess....but not really
Unfortunately that is a 2.5mm spacer. The crown has just a hair too much curve and I had to put a thin spacer in so it wouldn't hit the headset. The top of the Sunline headsets are really flat. The bars measure in at 41.25 inches from the ground to center of the bar end. The post is branded Sunline, but that is not the design that may or may not come out if there was a Sunline seat post to come out. Hmmm....is that a spacer between head tube and the bottom crown of the 888?
And your contribution of the DHR you never rode that would have been a different color with matching I9 wheels but didn't pan out because you went "pro" for Transition is a perfect contribution.by the way. . . . . . . veery pinkbike-esque thread lthumbsdown:
yeah, that kit looks neat....i just had a friend tear it apart and rebuild it for me......i had no idea you could get a 5th element to perform as well is this one does for me....i'm pretty flabberghastedSo you ripped the guts out yourself? This is the avy thing i was referring too

There is no spacer on the bottom crown!! It does look weird in the photo though. Their is a 2.5mm spacer in the top of the headset under the top crown. the front end is low and it rides well. The Sunline headset has a pretty low stack height. I attached some photos of the headtube. Sorry they are really bad.Dude, take that spacer out ASAP and get a different headset.
I have a Sunday tunes Swinger and it works great too. For some reason better than the 5th I had on the bike first. The travel just seems very controlled.yeah, that kit looks neat....i just had a friend tear it apart and rebuild it for me......i had no idea you could get a 5th element to perform as well is this one does for me....i'm pretty flabberghasted
is that a 2008/2009 dorado on your turner? the front and rear shocks look so sexyGo ahead, drink it in.

It is an RC3 WC. I haven't ridden too much real rough stuff yet because most of it is covered in snow. So far, I do really like it. I had the air one last year and I could never get mine to feel as good as my previous RC2X. I went with this one becasue I was willing to give up some weight for performance. I am glad that I did even though they say that the ATA WC is better this year than it was last year. A friend of mine that rides a Boxxer couldn't believe how good my fork felt compared to his after testing it on a short rock garden.Hey jason, how are you liking that Zoke? Looks like the RC3 WC? Any issues so far? I'm looking to replace my '05 RC with either the RC3 WC or the ATA WC and appreciate any input.
>Ahem< And why is it NOT sporting the Sunline 888 direct-mount stem?It is an RC3 WC. . . .
Totally agree, and like you said weight savings that significant in an invert (that's also now physically bigger) just means horribly low wall thicknesses. As an aside, why are they going back to the dorado anyway?? Manitou, just make a 180-203mm travis with TPC+ damping and air spring. Infact, make an upgraded xvert carbon with 35mm legs.
