How can I size the traction pins in my pedals? I'd like to place an order for a whole bunch of them (and some rotor bolts) from an online fastener supplier...don't have a local machine shop.

They're Weyless B-27 pedals, btw, from Supergo. Just in case anyone knows which size those use.

Thanks,

MD

Thanks, JBP...

If I only had a caliper and a gauge...

Used to have a caliper at work, but now I'm somewhere else.

Grrr. Pedals should just come with the pin size printed on the packaging.

Take the parts in question to a hardware store, and go through the boxes of nuts and bolts until you find the corresponding parts that fit. All pertinent information will be on the sides of the boxes.

My hardware store doesn't carry set screws, much less lil' teeny ones. I'm going near Home Depot today, however...and i'll look up a machinery supplier or someone in the yellow pages, too.

Thanks.

Heh. I wouldn't trust those guys to tell me what size headset I needed.

You specifically asked about thread pitch and diameter. These don't change whether they're set screws or toggle bolts.
