i've see the inner tube stretched between the lower crown and fork brace. however, i have a dorado, so this can't be easily done. do the strap on/clip on downtube fenders do anything? snowshoe is this weekend and i'm preparing for muddy conditions.

what if you use a inner tube and fasten it to the stanchion guards? just throwing it out there....

i've seen someone jury-rigging something with a metal wire and duct-tape to form lower cross brace for the the inner tube to attach to.

do you think attaching the inner tube to the stanchion guards may have too much slack on full compression and cause some issues?

You don't need a stepped fender for an inverted, since there's no arch to clear. KX/CR/Whatever 80 fender would do just fine.

yup. I had to flatten out the bracket on this fella to make it work. Was a godsend in the wet summer we had that year. Looks hella moto but it works! If I wore pajamas, it would have kept them clean, and what's more important, clean pajamas, or having a cool looking bike?

I've tried all the above but recently tried the Mucky Nutz Bender Fender www.muckynutz.com. It rules.
