Booooooooooooooo!!!as a side note, my bike will not have the integrated post. I thought that was too over the top
I wish we had a better cross scene. The races are all spread out and anywhere from 2 to 4 hour drives. If I'm driving that far, I'd rather just hit some good mountain biking spots.
I picked up some bike mag at the grocery store and this bike made me stop. I thought it was the best looking carbon bike in the whole magazine.I wish Scott would pump up their graphics a bit more, they're all kind of similar/boring to me, even if the frames are hot.
Black is the new white.I picked up some bike mag at the grocery store and this bike made me stop. I thought it was the best looking carbon bike in the whole magazine.
I didn't want the integrated post for resale and travel reasons...regular post is easier. Plus I had to bump up to the big dog RC to get the integrated post and difference in price is almost doubleBooooooooooooooo!!!
That's the coolest thing about that bike.
And also, there is no such thing as too over the top.

I don't want to hear all the little ways you made yourself feel better about it, you should have gone all-out, I'm just saying...I didn't want the integrated post for resale and travel reasons...regular post is easier. i like the wheel graphics. but as far as the bike... i like the Parlee's for carbon. the pics of the new Serotta Meivici AE was pretty kickass!!! i like the big weave carbon look.I picked up some bike mag at the grocery store and this bike made me stop. I thought it was the best looking carbon bike in the whole magazine.
I wrecked a set of zipps last year...those wheels don't hold up to the abuse of cross...expensive lesson. I should have the bike next week, I'll post picks when I get it built upI don't want to hear all the little ways you made yourself feel better about it, you should have gone all-out, I'm just saying...
They have cases for ISP frames, if you wanted to "travel" with it.
Price whining coming from someone with multiple sets of Zipp wheels sounds hollow in my ears...
Nice! Which model did he pick up? Axis? Or the Concept?New bikes are fun! Derek just got a new Bianchi cross bike - carbon to the max.
It's the Concept Race one.Nice! Which model did he pick up? Axis? Or the Concept?
WOW! Our team raced for Bianchi 4 years ago and I have to say their cross bikes have come a long ways! Very nice bike! It's the Concept Race one.
Well, the Lounge is filled with complete jackasses whose only reply to a post is to either make some inane comment with no bearing on anything, call into question the poster's sexuality, or try to top it. There are too many "new" people there. I know I sound like an old man, but I consider most of the folks in the Road forum to be pretty "established," meaning that most of us know each other, at least as well as you can through a website. And James you think posts in the Lounge are rough
The wheels actually are a decent set. Maybe to folks like us they'd be too low-end, but they're a nice, solid set. This bike is pretty much sex in bicycle form
(minus the wheels)
I saw one of those (or at least a Felt with a similar paint job) on my way home from work last week. They'd replaced the wheelset with a set of carbon tubies painted all hallucinogenic pink. Those wheels really drew the attention away from the dude riding it who was kitted out in old school pastel racewear... It was quite the site. I almost snapped my neck and crashed when I did the double take. The wheels actually are a decent set. Maybe to folks like us they'd be too low-end, but they're a nice, solid set.
That bike calls for a set of super-deep carbon tubulars though...

Yeeeeahhhhh.....The helmet-cam recordings of my commutes were the first to go when I realized that I could save porn to my HD for later viewing....Too bad you didn't get a photo
