lol yea you get the point! but so do the tires, from point A to point B.Haggered? Haggard? Which ever it is they certainly are ugly.
Cool bike. New bike threads are the best.
No way dude, those tires are hot! Michelin yeah? I might look at those for the C50, I have the white Vredesteins on there now, but when they wear out. The white sidewalls vs. tread is pretty cool. I was also thinking about the white Contis, with the black sidewalls.2010 Giant TCR Advanced, Sram Force kit, Giant Connect SL bars and stem.
yes i know the tires are haggered!
lol sweet what kind of measurements are you talking about?Dude, that bike is rad. From the looks of the contact points you have there, that thing could be dialed into a supreme level of eurotrash perfection. Send me some measurements and stuff on the bike, and let me do some math... It'll mean dumping your bar stem- but if you did, that bike would be far more dialed. It's like buying cred out there in California. Plastic surgery.
Keep the black tape, add white hoods and saddle.lol i just wanna use the bike for training, matching will come later down the road but yes white tape would look baller!
california bound T-minus 8 days! bringing this baby, my 2010 giant glory, and my 2008 giant trance x, and maayybbee the giant 24" method for the BMX track.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the shape of that stem...Dude, that bike is rad. I think it just reminds me of an old, kinda crappy stem from like '01. I forget the brand, but it was something that Giant specced for a while, ironically.oh hoods! got you, im pretty new into the road riding thing so give me some time!
ill be living in San Diego, aka Santee.
you dont like the stem shape? i think its amazingly sexy! big boxy carbon stiffness love!
sick dude! i will have to hit you up when i get out there, about 2 weeks.I think it just reminds me of an old, kinda crappy stem from like '01. I forget the brand, but it was something that Giant specced for a while, ironically.
Yeah, white hoods and saddle would be tits.
Santee eh? Not quite SD, but East County has some good riding, just be a bit hot!
SD rules, I'm up in North County, love it. Great riding.
SIKKK!sick dude! i will have to hit you up when i get out there, about 2 weeks.
Get that thing out on the road for a little bit and see where you settle in. "Ergo" bars just kill the looks of any bike to me, but especially a rad race bike. It's the little things, like where your hoods are in relation to the shaper of the bar, back angles, all of that that make the difference between rad and meh. if you are wed to the bar and stem you have it may be hard to tweak it too much- those bars have lots of reach, especially the way they are wrapped now. A proper handlebar with hoods in the right place would fit better, allow you to use a longer stem(better weight distribution) and lower the stem a wee bit.... It's the little touches.lol sweet what kind of measurements are you talking about?
i haven't even riden the bike yet so the seat height and bar height will change for sure! i think i can drop the stem down a bunch and get this thing rippin.
let me know Mickey.
Ergo sucks...the new variable radius stuff is actually pretty cool. I still prefer a pro bend, but opt for VR second to them. Lots of positions with them. It's the second most popular bend in the pro peloton now.Get that thing out on the road for a little bit and see where you settle in. Fwiw, Kirt Voreis has one of the better road positions of anyone I've ever ridden road bikes with at a national. Style is style!
Ergo FTL. I really like the new Easton bend a lot, VR. Deda's Zero100 bend is good too, though I have the old-school Pro on the C50...Ergo sucks...the new variable radius stuff is actually pretty cool.
