After a shotgun move back to the East Coast, I've finally (mostly) gotten stuff squared away in the garage. New company means new toys to ride.
Big shout out to TJ for the hookup on a couple of these, helped me get rid of some Felts and replace them with bikes from a company I draw a paycheck from. Enjoy that Record buddy!
I still have one more bike I'm in the process of finishing, just waiting on a fork. Most of these parts I moved over from the previous bikes, just new frames.
Messed around with the C50 a bit, just swapped out the tape and seat color to black, I think it looks a bit better, less full Euro style.
SystemSix frame I picked up my 2nd week here. I've always lusted after this bike, and now I can have one. NOS frame that took parts from my old F1SL mostly.
Ah TJ, thank you for letting me replace the alloy Felt with another, nicer alloy frame. Always have to have one of these in the quiver. Will hopefully get my hands on a full carbon fork in white to drop some weight.
TJ to the rescue again, so I've gone from 0 Systems to 2. This will live at the office for the daily rides. Will be swapping the stem out for one of the System Six stems like on the other one, giant base so it melds with the headtube better.
The family:
Not shown: the powdercoated alloy frame, which I moved to my in-laws house out on Long Island, so I don't have to shuttle bikes back and forth.
I haven't ridden in waaay too long, most of you don't know but I'm expecting a daughter any day now, the official due date is this Saturday, the 7th, but it could be any time. So I haven't been on the bike in a while, I have to stay near a phone, and my car, ready to go at a moment's notice. After she's here I'll be back on the riding to work, riding at the 3pm ride, etc. But for now all I can do is polish, obsess over bartape/saddle color.
I'll update with baby news soon I'm sure.
