New here. have been riding bikes for a long time. Stopped when I got to HS, and just picking it up again. Hopefully for good. Will be converting my HKEK to a SS in two or three months, is there a crank ratio i should consider? But just wanted to say hello

Welcome, did you mean gear ratio? I run 36-16 on my ss, check around the fourm for loads of great info.

Somewhere around 2-1 (meaning that the front sprocket is twice as big as the rear). You may want to start at 32/14 if you're doing more street riding because it's a little bit harder than 2-1. If you're doing steeper trails, stick to 2-1.
