It kind of already happens out there on a certain level. At least when people are breaking stuff, it always seems like somebody else has something at their disposal to hook up the needy.

For everyone's information, we are organizing a little dinner and some movies on Saturday night at the Red Lion. It will be limited to 200 people I think, and will start fairly early so you can get your rest for racing.
Anyhoo, we could have some tables setup for some swapping, don't know exactly how to organize it?
Maybe less is more? We'll just advertise it so people will come prepared whether buying or selling.
