Why? What makes it nicer than what you were riding previously?
Not nicer, just different. I've been on carbon forever, the C50 is probably one of the smoothest road bikes out there, so going to a full alloy (vs. the scandium/carbon bike I have) is a bit of a change. Like the bikes I was riding in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Well...it was bound to happen. ~14k on the frame.

Was on a 65-ish mile ride on Sunday and at some points I felt a little wobble going on in the rear wheel area of my bike...I passed it off at the time as just me still being hung the f*ck over. Turns out it wasn't me... (sorry for the blurryness...I sux at teh photoz skillz.)

Updates to follow...

I'll probably go with that F95-n-strip route you suggested. Same shop that I'm dealing with for the Scott sells Felts. They're good guys. Seems like the best idea at a reasonable price...Plus I like the team paint job...it'll make me feel all pro er somethin'....
Badasssssssssssssssssss

You'll really like that frame, I did/do. And I liked the team look so much I got a carbon one to match. Or something. Heh...

I still have the entire build kit off of that bike I need to get rid of, I've just been super lazy with the eBay shizzz.

Finally finished! After some back-and-forth about what build kit was going on there, etc, I'm happy to show the finished product! This weekend is the maiden voyage, unless I can sneak out on Friday for a lunch ride...
15.8lbs as it sits here, size 56cm. Post is a "Team" post that we made for Garmin, so it's the wrong color, and it's super-long, but I'll have a "stock" one on there shortly, which will cut some weight, maybe even sneak into the 14s!
SRAM Red shifters/derailleurs
TRP R960SL brakes
Easton EC90 crankset
Reynolds Assault wheels
Easton EA90 Stem
Easton EC90SLX bar
Prologo Scratch Nack saddle

Edited to correct the weight...

wait.... i thought the frame you were building was that Roubaix model
That one's getting built as we speak...just waiting for the team-issue 3T bar/stem with the blue stripes. Still haven't decided what seatpost on that one.

I think I need to swap out the brakes though, the cable routing/frame size doesn't work too hot with the TRP brakes I'm using. Their barrel adjuster is kind of "loose" in there, as in it doesn't thread into the brake itself.
Thinking I'll swap them out for something else.

It's been a long time since I've posted on here, so here is an updated pic of my bike, well at least the pic worthy one.

Yeah, too loud I think. Updated pics below.

Bummer about the parts! But they'll be there waiting for you when you're ready.

Hey guys, here's my all 'round commuter and road bike. Gets me to work and I do longer road rides with it as well. Gearing is nice, I average about 19-20mph on it comfortably. Nice rides everyone!
