Gossip,

Lopes crashed up-top in his run, Cammelini was in the hotseat for an age, as was Vasquez, then Atkinson, I thought Gracia would have had the win. Hill looked mildly pleased.

The Santa Cruz Syndicate guys (Peat & Rennie) were both running Maxxis tyres, in conflict with Kenda contract.!!!!

Good Stuff!

What happend to Mick? 1st to 39th? Maybe a crash?

Good to see Cedric back up there!!

Tom

It's Mick-you had to ask? ;)

Ya, I hope Cedric can keep the momentum going, after what he has gone through in his personal life, it has taken a lot of strength to move on-kudos to him.

I was joking, it's just that I've been reading so much hype about Peaty having tested Kendas for a long time, him loving them bla bla and then he sticks a pair of High Rollers on...

It's obvious to everyone that you're trying to make a point here, but you stop short. There's no need to be obtuse. Make your point. Really, I'm curious, what are you trying to say?

Relax skippy, it is internet fodder.

I was saying they went slow there, could MT kick my ass on and off the bike-hells ya, do I hope if he ever gets wind of this post he laughs and says "stikman just being a clown-haha", Codding on the other hand, I think I could take him drunk with one hand tied behind my back...its just good natured ball busting.

And no, I was not trying to make a point...some of you people are so f-ing sensitive in here it is really amazing.

So go have a burger at the...

Just a few quick questions then:

Why do you feel qualified to comment on the results of any riders at a race you didn't even attend? Did you have helmet cams on these riders to witness their runs? How do you know what happened save for the fact that they started the race and crossed the finish line?

Out of the 166 listed entrants in the race, why point out the results of these two? Are you friends of theirs? If it's just good natured ball busting, I'd hope you would at least extend to them the courtesy of letting them know they're in your game. Hell, I'd settle for you acknowledging them when they're in your presence.

FYI, I'm not mad enough yet to kick your ass. I'm 34 years old and have a kid to think about. I'd need to get way more worked up first. I was just curious to know why you feel the need to comment on my performance at a race you didn't attend when you don't even know me. In fact, you never even stooped so low as to speak to me when you were on the circuit. Do we have a friendship that I don't know about? One where you feel qualified to bust my balls online without telling me about it? What did I do to you anyway that would motivate you to even recognize my existence?

Oh, if I were you I wouldn't be so sure about your chances against Codding either. It may have been a couple years since you've seen him, but he goes about 175# now. He's all growed up and I'm guessing he's now got about 25# on you.

Awesome, an interview....lets put it in Decline or Litter

Just a few quick questions then:

With your logic, ban all the fans, from any sport, I mean seriously-you have to BE AT a race to comment on it????...but I make comments/opinions based on my 20 years of racing and traveling to international events...I think I know about races, racing and racers...not a guru by any means, but I follow racing-that gives anyone the right to comment.

Did you have helmet cams on these riders to witness their runs?
Nope.

How do you know what happened save for the fact that they started the race and crossed the finish line?
Does not matter, crashing and mechanicals are part of the game...you make your own luck has always been my motto, I do not live by the "coulda won, but I flatted"...you still flatted.

Out of the 166 listed entrants in the race, why point out the results of these two?
When I look at the results, I usually look to see what americans went overseas and how they did.

Are you friends of theirs?
define friends?...but I knew Codding for years, have had dialogues with him, have had dinners with him. Would I invite him to a party at my house?-sure why not. You...I got no problem, we have spoken many times, I have chatted with you and the big crank guys a few times, hell we even ravaged vermont looking for a place to play pool-but that was with a crowd of 20 people, so I guess I was too small of a flea to be noticed by you.

If it's just good natured ball busting, I'd hope you would at least extend to them the courtesy of letting them know they're in your game. Hell, I'd settle for you acknowledging them when they're in your presence.

Uncalled for and untrue.

Glad you are not mad, but I do know you, I thought well enough to make a little jib-guess not, sorry you were offended...as for you saying I never spoke to you, perhaps I have a better memory but I remember many conversations and casual hellos in the pits, and like I said, even traded some parts over the years....this part is untrue. And even better news is you wont kick my ass, you are scary...I do not need to be feeding my baby girl with a black eye and busted lip

I got age on codding, jedi mind tricks and I can run fast.....

At any rate, seems you are bent on me now, maybe you were before, who knows. Just add you to the list of stik haters based on nothing really. Did not know what I wrote would have affected you so hard, so I am sorry, did not mean anything by it and if I can reverse the damage let me know.

Well I will put this thread back on track.

For the World Champs the fort bill course is changing. The course will now start at the very top in the gondola station. It will re-join the track between 1/4 and 1/2 way downish.

The 4X track is being extended further up the hill to try and make the times longer and give the riders who have attended previous WCs some variation.

Maybe I didn't do a good enough job of letting you know that I'm not that bent. I just wanted to know why you would call me out when we are most assuredly not in any kind of contact with one another on any basis (read: bros). Trust me when I reiterate I have not been "affected so hard".

I just think it's unfair/uncool/dumb when you and others spray about people you know nothing about (face it - you know nothing about me except that I'm "scary"). I know these message boards are fun and oftentimes an effective way to share knowledge, but it seems some people think their membership on a message board is a license to stomp on people's feelings. I don't think that's cool. I hate it when I see you and others do it online and now I'm finally saying something when my name is mentioned. Just ask yourself this question - if you had seen me in the streets yesterday, would you have even conceived of "busting my balls" about my finish last week? Hell no you wouldn't have. One, because you don't really know me well enough. Two, because you're afraid of the consequences. So why do it online? I know, because it appears safe behind the relative security of your keyboard and monitor.

I'm clear on the "it doesn't matter" front, that's why I offered no excuses for my performance at Ft. Bill.

I'm not using logic to say that we should "ban all the fans, from any sport". That's ludicrous. Please don't put words in my mouth. What I don't appreciate is you commenting on my result without knowing anything about it. There were plenty of other good riders there who had **** results and you said nothing of them.

Perhaps it would work best if from now on you just kept my name out of your dirty little mouth. And for everyone else you people always slam on from behind the keyboard, "Stop it and be nice!" Is that so hard these days? Sheesh

Apology accepted.

Way off base, but you are entitled to your opinion.

But I will say this, if I did see you at the market yesterday, I would have said some smart ass comment like "I see Fort Bill went well for ya"...I grew up with ball bustin kids on bikes, we tease.

Anyway, won't mention your name ever again.

Cheers.
