What's the scoop on these? Are they teh shiz? I've read a few reviews, but I don't think I've EVER seen anyone riding one.

I happened upon a 2010 frame with an RP23 brand new in a shop. They're pretty motivated to sell. I'd need pretty much all the other parts to have it up and running. My current "little bike" is a MKIII.

Thoughts?

fwiw, a bike whore buddy of mine has a Pivot mach 5.7 and I watched him basically make love to it in his garage this afternoon. He won't stop talking about that bike, or riding it.

well it uses a DW link, so it'll probably blow you and your mind on every ride, all while winning the lottery and preventing you from having to poop (anti-squat).

I demo'd one and was very impressed. It climbed almost too well compared to my trusty old RFX (kind of pissed me off actually) and sucked up square edges (heading up AND coming back down) like it had twice as much much sqooshy travel. I'd totally buy one.

If it wasn't just so damn ugly.
