Just visiting for a few weeks and will be staying at Marriott on River Parkway downtown. Wanted to know if there were any trails within riding distance or short drive? Looked at hotel on google maps and saw huge forested area to south of downtown, any trails there. I have an Enduro so I ride a little of everything. Recently been riding Black Rock alot. Thanks.

So what's available nearby for when it dries up? I can't ride for about a week anyway, my rear shock is in California.

forest park (north of town) has alot of single track but it is not open to bikes and also a bunch of fire road which is open to bikes. Also, powell butte may open to bikes (got to call a hotline) you can just hop on the bus (route 9 I think) and it will take you right out there. otherwise you are looking at going out to hood river area which I am pretty sure is all snowed in right now.

Theres some good stuff in Astoria as far as free ride/DH if you don't mind driving about 1.5 hrs. Normally they ride every sunday.
