I will be very curious to hear how the elka is. I've been considering it on mine.
My 2010 rig... Not exactly sure how heavy it is. Estimating 39-40~ish maybe 38.. but thats really pushing it.

Nothing at all. I think it's a great idea if you like to self-shuttle, which I do.whats wrong with a full size cassette on a DH bike? i prefer it on all of my DH bikes
i dont self shuttle, i just like to ride my DH bikes everywhere..and sometimes that includes uphills.Nothing at all. I think it's a great idea if you like to self-shuttle, which I do.
I think it must have been a joke about how huge the downtube gets close to the BB. Still, funny fail.its a sh!tty American beer, but it still makes no sense
I do have to pedal it up more then I would like. When the park opens up it will probaly get swapped out. The seatpost is so long cause I didint want to cut the brand new one cause I had a cut one at home... Went from the shop to the trails.I like the Demo too, and I found it interesting that you've got a long seat post and what looks to be a full-size cassette on the back. Do you pedal it to the top a lot?
Nice. I was considering a Blindside for my '10 bike, but the build would have cost me a bit too much. How's it run?My Transition Blindside 2010 Ready!
cheers!
My two-wheeled gravity propelled rocket...
Yah, what are they?what tires are on that demo?
It might be the derailleur hanger, but the derailleur it self looks WAY out of wack and hanging down pretty far. Can you reduce the B-tension to get it tucked up higher and get the pulley closer to improve shifting? Unlike a shimano part, the SRAM will not bang into the chainstay/horst.My two-wheeled gravity propelled rocket...
nor will a shimano shadow type rear derailleur....It might be the derailleur hanger, but the derailleur it self looks WAY out of wack and hanging down pretty far. thanks manWow... Sexiest. Ever. Great job dude. So tasteful.
Its a Specialized pinnit up front and a clutch sx in the rear..Yah, what are they?
Whats with the tri color zips on the spoke?
I bet i probably could but i have to have the b-screw pretty much maxed to clear my big ol' honkin mountain cassette on the back (pretty sure its a 32 or a 34)It might be the derailleur hanger, but the derailleur it self looks WAY out of wack and hanging down pretty far. how did you lower the bb down that far?Nope, we got the complete bike and ditched the parts. Still has the original shock here dhx 4.0 which is gone now -the headset is about all that's left.
13.8 BB height - 64 HA - Sits really nice at 37.5lbs legit DH build.
I did nothing but, measure it - ground to center of the spindle.how did you lower the bb down that far?
Because Profile is one of our team sponsors and they rock!Any reason for the Profiles? Or just because? looks good.
hmmm...i was curious because Trek states it is 14.3"I did nothing but, measure it - ground to center of the spindle.
Yeah but they rate both the triple and single crown fork options as 65 HAIsn't also a 65 HA?
