Pretty much sums it up right there. If you are running into that issue, either your bike is set up wrong, you have terrible landings or may want to work on body position on the bike.
Just wear a speedo.. i rode our dual slalom course with one one time and was fine.. full face,knee/shins, and a speedo. yeah my fellow club members will probably never forget that day but it does keep stuff up and out of the way.
