Lewis Morris Challenge MTB Race- September 17, 2005

The Lewis Morris Challenge is back and is being presented by The Morris County Park Commission and Marty's Reliable Cycle to benefit The Great Swamp Watershed Association. It looks to be a very fast-rolling up and down course; quite hilly, but a lot of fun. This year many of the trails we are using are new. Each lap will be just under 7 miles. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends 20 minutes before your class's start time.

All categories $25

One lap: 6.75 miles

Prizes to top three finishers in each class!

Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends 20 minutes before your class's start time.

Beginner: 1 lap. Start time 9:00 a.m. Race Beginner if you have never raced before, or if you would not be comfortable riding 3 laps.

Sport: 3 laps. Start time 10:00 a.m. Race Sport if you placed well in Beginner races in the past.

Expert: 4 laps. Start time 10:15 a.m. Race Expert if you have placed well in Sport races in the past, or if you are super-fly on a bike.

Single Speed: Open class! 2 Laps (All ages and ability levels together) (free love)

Directions: 5 miles west of Morristown on old Route 24. Park entrance on the left, past Delbarton School. Lewis Morris Park, Morris Township , NJ.
