As I commented At Vital, if that patent gets awareded someone needs to burn the patent office to the ground.
The patent would be for having multiple main pivot locations. You could pull the main pivot bolt and move it to a different one.what are you guys bangin' on about?!
And it's a Canfield? The patent would be for having multiple main pivot locations. You could pull the main pivot bolt and move it to a different one.
Vampire Bikes - Chris Canfield's new brand. However, the suspension layout is a normal horst link, but it has multiple main pivot locations you can use. It sounds akin to trying to patent leverage rate flip chips. And it's a Canfield?
I got downvoted at Vital for stating the obvious. Jeez, some people is dying just to have something new to worship...Vampire Bikes - Chris Canfield's new brand. Eh? Some DH frames back in 2001 had 2 separate main pivot locations. swapped in exactly that wayThe patent would be for having multiple main pivot locations. You could pull the main pivot bolt and move it to a different one.
Yup, we have come so close to make Idiocracy real we have people trying to PATENT FUCKING HOLES!!!Eh? Some DH frames back in 2001 had 2 separate main pivot locations. swapped in exactly that way
eg.
Coyote DH3/Muddyfox Descent (same frame)
Dammit Gary…ruining the patents for bike companies that think they are doing something new…like putting the seatpost in front of the bottom bracket.Eh? Some DH frames back in 2001 had 2 separate main pivot locations. swapped in exactly that way

Already patentedYup, we have come so close to make Idiocracy real we have people trying to PATENT FUCKING HOLES!!!
I use the SS for trail building and weeds/bushes/tumbleweeds get sucked into derailleurs and kills them. Regular SS just eats all that stuff.just use one chain and a derailleur hanger mounted tensioner. Far less complicated and just works.
Cool idea but the rear sensor mount requirements could be problematic. No problem if it works for the bike you have now and you don't plan on changing frames for a long time, but if you have multiple bikes or tend to swap frames fairly often you're painting yourself into a corner.System 2

Now I know what I want to ask for Father's Day. I've used the first version of the system and found it helpful, but it didn't play nice with Santa Cruz frames. System 2 works fine.System 2

Looks it just uses the shrader valve to secure the upper mount. You could probably macgyver something together.yes, was tempting, until i read the part where they exclude coil forks -.-
I don't understand how that thing is doing what it says it does...Bilstein to enter the bike market?
Did you see some mentions about outside diameter? And tolerance for the spring rate?there was another automobile supplier that started to cater to the mtb crowd:

Fuck that would go good. Not sure on the colour though - hopefully they do some more MX models. Those numbers look good for a little rowdy bike.
