I actually tried this when I was a kid.
Ceramic-wheeled skateboard + piece of rope = very bad results.
Similarly trashed front wheel, replaced with two tricycle rear wheels. Change in geometry made it very close to unrideable.
.....wish I still had the old Harley

I love it when someone takes something simple and effective and improves it by making it complicated and crappy.

Whoever did that to that 442 need to be taken out back and be drawn and quartered.
There is some stuff on there that really doesn't make any sense. I can't figure out what the hell is going on with that external radiator below the footpeg. Is it water cooled AND air cooled??
Some of it is really interesting though. The zero-displacement damper I'd like to know more about. The air-spring is pretty crude though.
Huge amount of leverage against that rotor from the wheel through the driveshaft though. But I guess it separates it from the wheel effects and potentially gets better braking traction.
Hydraulic clutch but with weird cable routing. Must be a pain in the ass to bleed.
