Anyone know anything about this? Seems like they hired some out of towners to design this pretty cool park but I don't think it was ever completed?

The bike park is close to fruition. Permits have been submitted and we plan to start construction with LOTS of volunteers on June 18-19. See the attached flier.

Here is a link to the final design - http://www.redmond.gov/cms/One.aspx?portalId=169&pageId=1593

We will move some dirt by machine and some by hand, we will have training and coordination at the June kick off work party.

All the jumps will be table tops and there will be a wide variety of lines from blue to double black. Click on the design guidelines (Part 5 of the design) for construction details.

    From the link:

I emailed Carolyn Hope earlier today and she didn't have any more details.

My guess is that if the appeal does get filed, they'll have to cancel the work party - and they could have to do that at the last minute. So they decided to just put it on hold until this gets resolved.

BTW, if you want to see this project happen, email Carolyn Hope and show your support. Her address is cjhope@redmond.gov so get busy. :)

    Yep, back on track.

New leadership as well. Same out of state designers/developers though. Such a DUMB decision on someones part.

I know they need help so get out there and stack some dirt so I can show up when it's done and bitch about how it was not done right. :D
