I'm trying to organize a ride on Sunday with people from both the Springfield area & the Millbury area. Does anyone have any suggestions for places to ride in the middle so everyone has the same approximate drive? Maybe somewhere around Sturbridge???

To late now but about your best option is Hodges in Oxford not really worth the drive other than to get in on riding with a good group.

Wells State Park in Sturbridge. Its off rt 49 (small connector highway between RT 20 and RT9.) I used to ride there in high school and it was fun but kind of small.

The best option between Millbury and Springfield is Bigelow State Park in Union Ct (The pike to 84 then a few exits down 84, the back side of the park actually borders Sturbridge.) The place is real technical XC though. Be prepared for some hike a bike.

This isnt how the entire place is but there are very few sections that fall into the easy category.
