Never did the WC circuit stop in Tremblant. There has been a Canada Cup there for at least 10 years (on the same course...) with the infamous slick rock. Apart from the race weekend, no DH allowed in Tremblant. There has been countless rumors of them having a bike park, espacially since Intrawest did so good by doing one in Whistler, but it never happened. Nearby mountain Mont-Blanc had a bike park for a couple years, with nice trails and decent uplift, but closed its doors to biking 2 summers ago.

Anyway, long paragraph to say that the only places for DH in Québec are Bromont and Ste-Anne.

I find That statement so so commical, because mowing down most of the trees on the mountain to create a ski hill has less of ecological impact then riding bikes through the woods........Its a complete farse really. Some of the locals told me that it had more to do with the richy rich big wigs not supporting the concept of a bike park.
Sugerloaf NB in Cambleton is a provincial/national park and they havean awesome bike park, which was actaully funded by the government..............go figure.
