Had the Stone Vertical Epic (and a few more) last night over the Sox game. Meh. I'm usually pretty into darker, more complex ales, but this one didn't do it for me. It certainly was interesting, but IMO not all that great. I can't place what was off with it, but it's not something I'm going to buy again soon.

Now, a Deschutes Green Lakes Organic Ale. Es muy bueno.

Just bought a 6er of:
Sierra Nevada Anniversary Ale.

:bad: i had sierra nevada anniversary ale for the first time a couple of weeks ago and i thought it was horrible .i couldn't even make it through a 6 pack i still have 1 in my fridge . it's the only bad sierra nevada i've ever tasted .

Last night I was drinking Cascade Stout from Tasmania, this morning it's lots of strong coffee, later today I'll be drinking my duty free booze that I'll get when I fly to Rarotonga in 1 hours time!

In order:
Very good, could be a little heavier on the mocha.
Awesome. Not as good as the 90 minute, but a teriffic IPA.
Solid, but nothing exciting.
OK. Nothing to get excited about, but plenty drinkable.
Fanfvckingtastic. A long time favorite of mine. So good.
Interesting for sure. Finishes with a strong note of red wine. Probably not something I'll buy again, but it was worth trying.
