The stock bars felt really low when I threw the new fork on, so I robbed my cruiser. I flipped the stem to minimize the 5" rise a little.
The grips are only a couple inches higher than they used to be, just under 40" from the floor.

Do your chainstays actually slope down?

Yes, they do. The bottom bracket is at about 11-3/4". Pretty much exactly the same as my 24" cruiser's BB height.

quick question... how much did you cut the steerer when you first got it?

About an inch, but it was used when I got it and had been cut before. It's at 7.5 inches now. I want to cut it again, but it will be a bit too short for a normal stem then. I'm going to hold off until I'm sure I like the setup. (It's been raining almost nonstop since I switched)

i have bmx cruiser bars on my spec p-street 24. regular mtb bars feel too low to me on a 24"mtb. i've always liked a taller front end setup, even on a 20".
