Yesterday Colin Winkleman took his life. He was an outstanding athelete who pushed the limits of what was thought possible on BMX throughout his carreer and life.
He will be remembered and missed.
Is there an article on this? Id like to read it and get more details if i could. But in any respect RIP he was a great rider and one of the most creative and tech in the park world.
Im not a BMX guy but wow. When they said van jump injuries what were they talking about. Just curious because I saw a gnarly crash of a guy jumping a moving van in a motorcycle movie. Just curious if it were the same guy. Best wishes.
nah man thats not colin, colin held the world record for the longest jump on a bmx bike i believe (correct me if im wrong)he jumped over 12 ford expeditions
gob: but they aren't much worse than any message board on any subject on the internet. what it boils down to is that people on the internet are retarded little three fingered monkeys with selfish little brains and no consideration for anyone other than the d00d who delivers CHeetos to their local grocery store.
The Van Jump you described.. over the moving van.. was indeed the van jump that ended Colins career.
He shattered almost every bone in his lower legs and feet.
He was barely able to walk a year after the accident.
