Went on my 2nd road ride in less than a week this morning. I can see how road riding could be fun…

I think it's been like 3-4 years since I’ve been on a long road rides. Even if I’m on a POS CX bike with slicks, I must admit it that it was pretty fun!! Nice to be able to leave straight from my home – hit those hills in my back yard, and then come back. Strange thing, I had never been to those hills behind my house before, there are some killer scenery back there!!!

God all this rain we are having is getting to me I think….

I'd be totally lost w/o the road bike. I spend most of my time in the dirt (XC/DH/FR), so the road bike is a welcome change of pace and a GREAT recovery tool.
Road rides rock. You can see so much on your way, yet it doesn't go by fast enough to where you get to appreciate all the things you see.

Besides, how else can you piss off stressed-out motorists while just minding your own business?
