i think we have discovered the source of our intermittent internet performance issues. mild sprinkles overnight. ping times have gone into the toilet (varying between 50ms and 2166ms to 8.8.8.8).

perhaps it is time to build a waterproof box for the MPoE which is crapulous and old and not closing properly.

plus later we mix and pour concrete curb along the fence line to keep the stupid little dog from digging into the chicken yard.

Was going to put all the ski gear away for the season but looks like we're under a winter storm warning for tonight/tomorrow.

Ugh... this winter is never going to end.

doing the EMT standby gig at a horse show. Fiund out that my triage for a rider that got bucked off two weeks ago was spot on. Major concussion, held for a few days at the hospital, stil not cleared by the neurologist to resume riding, perhaps after a re evaluation in two weeks.

Trying to digest the news that some of our oldest and closest friends are getting divorced. Didn't see that coming as we now live 2000mi apart.

Deeply regretting my commitment to the environment as all the emissions crap on my truck, that I reluctantly left intact for past 7yrs/130k, is the root of my $5k repair bill that includes turbo, egr and cooler etc. Trucks been off the road for 3 weeks pending parts and I'm about to lose my mind.

Going to spend a few hours on our 31' airstream trailer > backyard kid-free zone/office restoration project, now that its no longer encased in ice, before the expected 2-4" of rain arrives to make next 2 days miserable.

Beer.

I'm currently at a wedding. We are 20 minutes from the nearest town and were driven here in buses. There is a guy here that nobody can identify, who is getting drunk and awkward. We're working our way through all of the guests to see if he is a date, but there is a good chance I will be escorting him to the edge of the property and wishing him the best of luck. The upside of being the biggest person is that people look to you for that. The downside to being the biggest person is that people look to you for that. Thankfully, the bride's brother-in-law is a "sniper" for the CIA. He's a scary dude.
