So, Im looking to buy a new bike to replace my trusty GT Avalanche Expert.

I want to get a bike that can do the xc thing but slightly more comfortable than a hartail. So I have my eye on an 09 Scott Spark 40, the alloy one.

My question is, is it possible to put a 140mm fork on this bike for doing events like the Mega, Epic Blast?

I was thinking a Fox Talas which would be adustable from 100 - 140mm. Or am I just asking too much from one bike?

No matter,

I decided to go a bit extra and get a Titus Motolite with a fox Talas for good measure.

Now I just have to build it tomorrow!!!!!
