Group of SF Snowboarders has all but landed a sweet house in Stateline, Nevada on South Benjamin, the short road connecting Kingsbury Grade to the Boulder and Stagecoach lifts at Heavenly.
3 bedroom, 3 bath, deck, with nice amenities including broadband, 3 parking spots and other parking closeby.
It's a bit far to walk but do-able, 1 min car ride, and I believe there are constant shuttles going back and forth btwn the lodges (from heavenly mtn itself and bluego)
Lease starting in mid December, through April. (so that 5 months includes Christmas and New Years Eve), many other shares only doing 4 mo
We are shooting for a price around $1250 give or take a bit (that seems to be about what other shares are going for)
Cost will prolly be a bit more upfront to cover security deposit and expected utilities, with refunds returned based on guest fees and sucessful sec deposit back)
Guests will be more than welcome ($35/night seems to be the going rate).
House location is convenient to store, bar, and community hot tub (have to walk to..) and South Lake Casinos/Nightlife are right down the grade

Mountain chalet style townhouse (duplex; one adjoining unit) with high ceilings and large picture windows bringing in the westerly sun exposure. Peak of the lake too! 2 large bedroom with 1 large open loft sleeping/office area and 3 large full baths. Just seconds to the Heavenly NV Boulder ski lodge/lifts and minutes drive down to casinos/beaches.

About us:
We are all professional, late 20s-mid 30s boarders, looking for a few others to make the house lots
of fun. All live in SF, and hope to be able to share driving responsibilities to and from the mountain.
Our small boarder group consists, so far, of one married couple, and two single women and a lot of interesteds
We will all be getting Heavenly Season passes as we litterally are walkie talkie distance to the slopes
We just aren't into the drive in drive out mentality of kwood, even if it is a 'better' mtn
We wanna have other things todo, food to order, nightlife and ppl around
Another upside is that you will be waking up and starting your day on the Nevada side, means less douchey crowds on the Cali side
If you will primarily be going to Kirkwood, then it doesnt make sense to be part of this as it is on the other side of south lake.

We are looking for cool, laid back, responsible people who enjoy hard days on the mountain, apres ski, and chilled
fun back at the house.
We are trying not to overpopulate the house, everyone should have a bed, because we definitely would
like to keep any extra space for guests.
(hint take a look at other houses, how many actual bedspaces and how many ppl they overbook, figuring ppl wont show)
Sorry no pets, smoking cigarettes in the house, full timers
None of us have kids and it will not be a family oriented ski share enviroment
This would be our first time running a house, but we are no strangers to being part of a ski house
