Is there any reason I can't swap my upper and lower shock spacers on my DHX equipped Sunday? I've isolated the cause of my "creaking" and it's from the lower pin moving back and forth between the two spacers. The pin is just a hair shorter than the total width of the eyelet and spacers. The upper pin is just a tiny bit longer, but I have no problems there. Can I swap the two, and possibly eliminate the tiny bit of play from the shock moving? The rear end of the bike is way tight, so that's fine, but I'd rather not listen to the shock clunk.
I don't want to mess something else up more significantly if the hardware is "end" specific. FYI, the top parts are black and the lowers are silver/aluminum.
