Roit! Sweet, man! Is that on that turn that's near the wildlife feeding area? Can't wait to check it out. When'll it open? (ever hear that one before? )
We have to re-route the XC trail and get signage up first, but we got the revised mou from the usace so we can move forward with more trail and races etc.
If the weather holds up we'll have a work party on the 28th to re-route the xc and fix the lander on the road gap.
If we get enough people out to get 'er done on the 28th then we should be in no time.
trust me, that's not necesarily a bad thing.
i'm sure the host server got clogged with cheesy photoshop pictures and complaints about logs on xc trails...and by that i mean the dirt sidewalks that people like riding their mountain bikes on around here.
But yeah, we are going to end up with a nice 3-trail system that should be good for a local DH fix or for people getting some experience before heading up to windrock.

that's real good news.
this part of the country needs a bigger hardcore rider base.
the terrain is too good to waste.
if we had a larger base around these parts, we might have l.b.s. support.
which would help increase the number of riders.
which would increase the numbers of trailbuilders.
which would help diversify the trail system, perhaps creating a more varied trail system to suit a wider range of skill levels.
yeah, yeah, yeah.
i know.
i'm dreamin.
but it looks like you're making the effort.
have fun.
those are riders who will never increase their level of riding.
and therefore never clog what little d.h. trails we have in this region.
i'm not opposed to them building that type of trail.
it just stinks when they take an already established trail(s) and lower it to the lowest common denominator.
