I've got a Turner DHR with a Fox DHX RC4 that squeaks the first time it's compressed after being left for a while. After the initial compression it's fine although it does feel like it has a bit of stiction.
I'm guessing the seal's dry and after being compressed the shaft gets lubed with shock oil silencing the squeak, although i'm not entirely sure.
The shock has about 5 rides on it so still quite new and perhaps still breaking in?
Anyone have any experiance with a kashima and non-kashima RC4? just wondering if it makes any difference?
