Do I need the SRAM assembly pliers to press out pins if I want to remove links? I'm talking about links other than the master link.

I tried pressing out a pin earlier with a Park chain tool and it would hardly move. Now that link is really stiff and I haven't been able to loosen it back up.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I only have a P.O.S. Topeak chain tool that I have used on PC-69s and PC-99s successfully. I would give it another try if I were you.
