Ok...not to sure how to say this, so I am just going to say it.
It sucks big time, after you spend all weekend building a new kicker and tranny (top section...i think you have all seen it, or at least most of you rode past while it was being constructed), to come out during the week, and see the kicker "dismantled" and re-sculptured.
If you have ideas on how it can be better or safer, please let it be known, however don't come in and make it how "you" want it. 3 people spent time putting that together, including having the take-off supported by vertical uprights, that were driven into the ground, and then horizontal boards to hold the dirt in. As you know, it doesnt take 5 minutes to build something like that, however it looks like all it took was 5 minutes to tear it down.
Also, the reason why there was a X on the kicker as well as the tranny, as well as a old lawnmower on the approach line is because I didnt want people hitting it, until the clay had time to harden during the week. Also, and most importantly, it was not finished. I believe since I took my weekend to build it, I get to decide when its ready for riding.
I am not trying to own it, just trying to make my creation good for everybody.
