I am an XC rider who bends a ton of rims. I have been riding rhyno lites recently, just cause I can't afford to keep bying new wheelsets. Any suggestions on spokes or rims that can build a bomb proof wheel without being too heavy?

I've built a pair of Maverick ceramics with DT revolution spokes (alloy nipples) and XTR hubs. I also used a standard 3-cross pattern. They have been used for XC and all aroung training rides for 5 years, and this year showed signs of the ceramic flaking off (due to side impact).
