Does anyone know of any fun places to ride within an hour or two of Salinas?

All of Santa Cruz is within 1 hour.

There's not much riding around Salinas or Monterey Peninsula,
besides Fort Bored or Mt Boro...

yeah, santa cruz is cool. i don't know how much time i have this weekend (got 3 finals due next week then i'm done for the summer), but the weekend after i'd be down to ride all day, and i'm sure other people would too.

Ummmm . . . sweet. I'm living like 3 minutes from ft. "bored", so santa cruz sounds awesome. pm me if you want to go next weekend.

cool. hopefully we can get a good group together for a ride. what kind of riding do you usually do? shuttle runs, freeride, xc? we've been doing a lot of shuttling lately (there's some sweet trails behind UCSC), but i don't mind pedaling uphill or doing XC, maybe go hit Wilder or maybe go over to Nisene state park. so i'm down for pretty much anything.
