'Morning. Lebanese food was awesome last night. Basically shredded lamb on rice with a side of hummus. Spicy tho.

Temps in the 20's with a single digit wind chill today. I am a pussy, so I will ride the bike trainer.

The wife is off skiing Loveland with the moms club. I have the kids, and there’s a father-daughter dance rehearsal later today. Apparently this is some terrible cultural tradition because I should be dancing with them all the time in a gender neutral manner, but all I know is that Mariko loves the idea.

33* outside, toasty in the camper. Dogs rousted me at 5 to go outside for poop fest. I promptly went back to sleep after they did their thing. Up at 7:30 and drinking espresso. We head home today. Ruth is now qualified to compete in the regional championships this September in Los Angeles

Back from my ride, lady made French toast and coffee. Gunna head out to the shed, then gunna hang with the kids until the lady gets home. Then gunna fire up the tractor and grade the race track and disk the garden. Beers and salmon on the grill tonight.

Grilled beer probably won't be that good.

8 miles, 1400 ft of rowdiness.

Now for lunch and to peruse REI to see what to spend the 20% coupon and our dividend on...Wife wants new shoes for DH season.

mmmmm....rowdiness.

was slightly disappointed with size of our rei dividend but then remembered we got a “new” $400 tent at the garage sale for $75 and all I had to do was re-string a pole.

Just found a sitter for 4-5 hours in St. George/Hurricane so I can do a proper Gooseberry loop.
The next day the sitter's dad will shuttle us so I can do an 8 mile downhill-ish ride with kiddo (JEM).
I love it when plans come together.

Back from the horse show, all went well. Horse is back in her stall, all the gear unloaded from the trailer, trailer cleaned and parked. Then we drove home unloaded our stuff form the camper and went out for Greek food. Nice to be all done with all the crap before 6pm

Nice sunny but cool weekend. Still having inflammation issues from my ride last weekend so no bikeys for me. Built a staircase from the yard up to my back deck. Took longer than it should have as I tend to get rather nitpicky and end up trying to build things with furniture level accuracy for what is little more than a pile of big sticks screwed together.

Super slushy slop at the moment. Of the few resorts I checked Keystone is the most optimistic for snowfall projections... perhaps I can bust out my powder skis on Wednesday?!

Spent lots of the weekend helping my cousin shoot a short movie. Learned a bunch of stuff and met a bunch of chill dudes. It was great weather for riding bikes though. While I was at the taco truck, a woman assaulted an elderly man driving a pickup. He was asking for it, opening his car door while she was losing her shit on the sidewalk. She threw a 24oz can of beer on his face and then bounced the can off his head. Classic Wapataco.
