So it seems that the Super Deluxe was built as a fairly modular platform. Is the only difference between the versions the bolt on IFP/compression reservoir? If so is anyone aware of anyone making or developing aftermarket subassemblies?

Base shim tune (compression and rebound) is done on the main piston... Lockout/adjustment is done in the resi. They are all the same base shock- only the resi changes.


We are working on (hopefully) some kind of upgrade process- maybe through SRAM DSD where you could send in your shock and get a different resi put on.

Cool....That's what I thought. Pretty clever way to consolidate sku's and probably help with margins.

I hope either RS or someone makes an upgrade available. Seems like a viable market opportunity for the aftermarket suspension vendors.
